ship.xml files

Post by Captain{}Blood »

Is there a tool that can be used to get a hard copy of the ship data by pulling it out of the xml files in a form that can be read?

@Captain{}Blood there are a couple of freeware XML editors out there on XP i use one i got from tucows Peter's XML editor on Linux it's even easier as the default text editors have syntax highlighting.hope this is useful for your little cap ship survey 8)

I use linux so that is a pretty easy stretch. I hope to find out how many turrets are on a fully loaded tesla before I try to bust one. There is a lot to those files so it may take some time to get the data sorted out.

(sorry for the duplicate reply to two different threads, but it is pertinent.)
The xml files are no longer used for unit stats (and were not used for unit stats in 0.4.3). Units.csv contains all unit stats.
