when I destroy a mean mining base for attacking me, it lets out mission cargo.

I haven't experienced it for myself, but read about it in this forum.

What does the mission cargo do?
Is it the missions you accept?

ya, it is. u can see for yourself in the /units directory (might be in /units/upgrades) they have a volume of .0000000001 or something and never goe away.
