Hi folks,
If you need money in VS in the beginning if you have only the wayfarer.blank, simply go to the weaponscomputer, there to "buy radars" and try to buy one of those radars. None of them can be built in into the wayfarer (for what reason ever it keeps telling that it wouldn't entierely fit on the ship) but everytime you click on upgrade, it adds the amount it costs to your money!! And the item disappears from the list (or the counter gets reduced). If therer are no more - go to another station, they will have more.
Or is this maybe happening only to me?

p.s.: Why isn't it possible to build in a new radar in the wayfarer? It isn't also possible to remove the old one as it wouldn't appear in the sell-parts list. Or is the default radar so much default that it can't be removed? or replaced?
How to get rich in VS ... or one simple bug

I know you believe you understand what you think I said.
But I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

yes it will be removed...we totally redid the stat based upgrading system to a component based upgrade system--where you buy cargo and it adds to your stats...like it should
we also fixed the little detail about radars not fitting on ships ;-P whoops

Hi,
Oh thank you so much, this whole stats based system was actually quite messy but I would have accepted it if it would work
I look forward to the new release - that's also a point where I will probably not withstand anymore and begin to tackle that trading system from the other thread...

t was a bug int he interface for giving you back money when something didn't fit
so it could have worked in theory
but this method is 100x more clean
and the odd thing is that it uses almost all the old code+ the repair codei
