how about just posting the png screenshot, and not stick it in a word document that doesn't even open in IE, let alone firefox in unix.

we need your stderr.txt, specifically the part where it says if your shaders are running in software or hardware

most vendors provide a buggy software implementation so my guess is that it's running in software, slowing down the game.

With that in mind--exactly WHICH version of drivers do you have for your (nvidia) card

Also does it look that way when you launch

@safemode Open Office opened it ok for me with fedora 7 and firefox.

I'd post a png file if i knew where it ws stored is "i" still the screen capture key?

which folder are these captures stored in svn folder structure

help me i'll help you the attached file is both stdout and stderr from my last game

i is still screen capture
it puts it in the .vegastrike/textures folder

and I'd like to see some screenshots of your ship in flight

Do you have the newest nvidia drivers?

That would be version 162.18?


Personally I have nvida driver 100.14.11 because it is the newest available in linux

The screen shots are in data4x\.vegastrike\textures that's a "dot" before vegastrike
