Joystick all over the place.
System: Mac OS X.4.10
Machine: 1.66Ghz Intel Mac Mini
Version: 0.4.3 (Intel files installed)
I setup the joystick and joystick actually works but if you leave the controls alone the ship rolls and spins all over the place.
If you hold the stick so that the ship is level then do a jump or get into a conflict then things sort themselves out and for the rest of the game letting go of the stick the ship remains level.
Anything that can fix this? I mean it's no real biggie as it just requires a little bit of concentration initially but it is kind of weird.
Same thing happens in Privateer Gemini Gold. Haven't tried the others but figure it's probably going to be the same deal.

I can find a couple but none talk about my joystick.
That's something Apple should have included because they include a really good joystick interface system for games.
Nothing came with the joystick because Logitech have never included drivers for Macs.
It's pretty weird that it doesn't work then it works fine. Like I say, it's no real issue as it does come right without any configuring.

I found the Windowed mode but no luck on the menu options. Just had the standard menus that had nothing in them.
Oh well, I'll see how the next version stacks up. Different engine may remove the problem.
Thanks for the help anyway guys.
With regards GTK, rumour has it that Leopard will be able to run GTK apps natively. But then that's two months away so hopefully by then the new version of Vegastrike will be out.

I believe an August date is still in line, even if it is late August.
There are still 20 days.
If everything works out poorly, there's a chance that it will end up in September of course, but I have a shortening list of bugs that need to be fixed.
I intend to release with networking support as well... even if inot all MMORPG aspects are there yet.
There are really only a few small (but serious) bugs remaining in basic network play...
