Bug and a question (version 0.3.9)

Hi guys, just two things...

First the bug...when I face either of the mining bases in Heaven's Gate with the cockpit on, 'metal bars' start criss-crossing the screen. But when I turn the cockpit off, everything's just fine. I have not gone outsystem in this release; it may be doing this to other places as well.

Now the question: I've begun a new game, so why is it that I'm starting off with a Dryad ship instead of the Wayfarer? Odd...

this is a known bug without a known solution...
but since you can just turn off the cockpit we don't want to waste more hours trying to fix it.

not sure why it happens but its' due to floating point accuracy...something VERY difficult to debug without knowing the flaw...
cus the numbers are "almost" right...just jittered a bit
