Cloak unavailable in current SVN?

I've been to at least 30 different research stations from many of the different factions and still haven't found a cloaking device for sale. System after system I come up with no cloak.
Has anyone else found a cloaking device? I feel like i'm on an endless search for nothing.

I found an aeran cloaking device in an aeran fighter base. I bought every ship listed there (3) and couldnt put a cloak on any of them. :/ I havent found a cloak in any other place at all and i've visited a number of research bases where you would expect to find them. :/

check master_parts_list.csv if you don't find it there then it is not for sale ATM.

just as well,
I stuck the "cloaking_device:upgrades/Miscellaneous/Aera_Milspec" in my play file and found that the milspec cloaking device is not actually installable in any of the ships I have.

^ - - ^ Haven't tried the "cloaking_device:upgrades/Experimental"...

It has been several years since I played with a cloaking device, but I believe that I got it from the Rlaan. I am pretty sure that the cloaking device that I purchased was not from the Aera. In my current game in Vegastrike 0.5.0, none of my ships will accept an Aera cloaking device.
