Freezes and such
For some reason, every so often when I minimize VegaStrike, the computer freezes. The mouse moves but can't click, and the keyboard doesn't respond at all. When I choose the "New Game" option from vslauncher, it starts off from a saved game, and you can't auto-jump from an asteroid field.

The minimize problem is probably a driver bug somewhere in windows. The solutions are to either play in Window mode or else don't minimize.
The "New Game" option is actually the same as the "Load game" except it makes a new game if it does not exist.
To avoid this, delete the old game first before making a new game.

Well then I don't know why. My only solution is to not minimize. You can probably get away with switching desktops (if your window manager supports it -- and very few do not support it). Most likely it is some sort of driver bug somewhere or else a window manager bug somewhere.
It is probably not caused by vega strike.
Can other OpenGL/SDL games minimize?
You can try compiling with glut if you compiled. Maybe that might fix it.
