I just launched and died in SVN... why? I was about to finish a lengthy mission too :(

Collision detection said you hit something?? For instant death like that sounds like you might have loaded into the middle of another object or smashed into something that was right on top of you. Can't really tell from the info.. at least I can't. Maybe someone more familiar with the err files can shed some light.

You're getting a lot of messages about collisions (it's weird that these get printed out. do they represent some sort of error in the collision system?):

So I'm going to guess that you crashed into another ship or base upon undocking. This is also possible if AI ships spawned at the same location as you.

Not related to your problem, but there's an odd python error--I wonder if it's because we upgraded windows to python 2.6 and never tested with that:

Those messages are debugging output hellcatv was using to fix some stuff in the collision system IIRC.

IMO, they should be silenced.

The real culprit is the last message, the inconsistency thing, but I have no idea where it comes from. Probably some backtrace would help.
