Bug in Multiplayer

Am having an very annoyng problem, everytime i go multiplayer i got a CTD(always when its loading background\green_down.bmp or green_back.bmp) i tried replace those files, but didnt worked.if anyone can help me plz!
Am using Windows xp professional SP 2, in a notebook.
Its a Kennex, Core 2 Duo 2 GB DDR2, and got a ATI m72 has video card.

what version of vegastrike? Also, vs create 2 output files on some crashes. I think they should be in the vegastrike/bin folder.. something like stderr.txt or close to it. past it in a post, someone may be able to tell what the problem is..
