Primary_Capacitor & Forward_Accel change when selling shieds

I have the following but with SVN:
- Buy a Franklin
- Save as Frank1
- Upgrade Shields
- Sell Shields
- Save as Frank2

Compare those two files. This will suddenly change the following values:
Afterburner_Accel 80500 (was: 92000)
Forward_Accel 30000 (was: 40000)
Primary_Capacitor 0 (was: 600)

any idea where to poke the code?
