Hi! I downloaded the stable Vega Strike 0.5.0 version from
here and started playing a few days ago. I was getting the hang of cargo trading and in fact found a VERY lucrative market for entertainment products with a gas mine in the Stirling system, when, lo and behold, I loaded my game and my cashcow that is the gas mine is GONE! There is a non-existent (?!) base that I can target using the "Target Natural" (N) command but I cannot go/dock into, it says "Loading Failed: shmrn" and it has no target image. I cannot make the gas mine come back, no matter what I do: reloaded the game numerous times, tried to leave the system, even two systems away, and come back, lower the resolution to "retro"...but nothing works
Also sometimes the Medical Base in the same system disappears too, but sometimes it comes back, and even sometimes there would be 2 medical bases, when I load a game.
Can anyone help me? I want it to come back because its proximity to the Cephlid 17 system with the oceanic planet Atlantis AND with a medical base in the same system makes it one very lucrative customer
My system (an old laptop):
IBM R50e Thinkpad with Celeron 1.6ghz processor
504 MB ram (ouch)
Intel 82582/82855 GM/GME video card with 64MB memory (really ouch)
(AND no, I do not want to hear comments to change my laptop, thank you very much
)
so there is always some place else to exploit
