CVS data4.x - Mouse problem
Um, the problem is that after you start vegastrike up, the first time you click on the ship and launch you get the Console thing .... thats not the problem but the mouse doesn't work until you get out of the console with shift-m and then back in again with shift-m... if you did that on purpose maybe you should not display the pointer at first, and actually tell people to press shift-m?

That is a bug, not a problem.zaydana wrote:Um, the problem is that after you start vegastrike up, the first time you click on the ship and launch you get the Console thing .... thats not the problem but the mouse doesn't work until you get out of the console with shift-m and then back in again with shift-m... if you did that on purpose maybe you should not display the pointer at first, and actually tell people to press shift-m?
THe screen gets displayed before the mouse callbacks get reset. (The base will set the mouse callback to the engine instead of the map because the base doesn't know whether it is on)
And the map doesn't know that it doesn't have callbacks set, bcause they were fine before you entered the base, so it just thinks that you aren't moving the mouse.
For now, unless someone hates it that badly, it will probably stay that way.
