unfortunately, nobody generating the win32 exe likes to say in the svn comment what revision it's built from. So, it's fairly unclear as to why you are having the problems you are having.

I looked at all the revisions to VS (not data4.x) since the last commit of the win32 exe. I found nothing that would alter how units are selected. Just the video stuff and active mission issue. Neither touch anything that would alter how the game selects units (and i know exactly what functions would do that).

that leaves data4.x which didn't have any script updates since the last exe commit.

Either the exe was built against an older pull than any revision after the last exe commit, the exe was built against a locally altered but not committed copy of VS source, or some compiler optimization is screwing things up.

I've had an issue like this, I think it's because your sensors randomly disappear. What I did goes something like this:

Played a game through for a while, upgraded ship a few times through exploiting the milspec bug (which may complicated matters)

Quit out of game, started new campaigns about 20x for testing purposes.

When I resumed the other savegame my empty Plowshare is loaded with all the stock llama stuff and the sensors disappeared from my Admonisher.

To get attention

everthing was acting normal

before my last update to svn 11957

i was running 11955 without major problems then updated to 11957
and had major issues that i wanted some one to look at it

after the update when i changed target via the "N" key the whole ship rotated to face the target "N" when the luddittes attacked i was unable to manuver despite knowing where they were i was unable to fire on them

this was immediatly after an update w.t.f.w.y.t

it's almost like your keys were all remapped. Weird. Maybe someone in windows land will shed some light on what's going on with key mappings.

Most of my keys are maped in my joystick application

1 trigger Space
2 missle Enter
3 change gun G
4 change missle W

5 spec A
6 travel mode Y
7 target N
8 nearest hostile R

jump and dock via Keyboard

views are on hat switch

That's 90% of useful game controls
there are mapped outside of vegastrike i check these first whenever i
have a problem and rerun setup for game options after every update

just updated to 11960 no current problems

Are you sure you didn't press "F7" or "7" before this happened?
There used to be some "feature"--now more of a bug, where the F7 view would pan the camera to include both your ship and the target's ship.

If you see something weird like that hit "F1" or "1" to return to the cockpit view.

I don't think this was related to the update, since I think nothing of that sort changed
