Whenever I attempt to jump into the Outreach system, VS crashes. Attempted from two different systems; both times same result. Game crashes to the desktop.
Searched, couldn't find a related post on the forums or in the bug tracker.
Happened in revision 11936 using svn.

find your .vegastrike/textures/backgrounds directory and delete all the images in there. Get the very latest svn and try again. It may be related to some issues i had with correctly generating the light maps that get built when new system backgrounds are loaded.
you may have been skipping the crash on load issue others had by having the system's lightmaps already built.
that directory wont be the one in data4.x. It's a home directory. the images inside it will be plain png's rather than DDS files.
