goddard milespec armor bug?

Hi all,

I recently bought a milespec goddard, and the armor seems extremely week.
A redeemer ship can get my armor down with a few shots (while it took dozens of shots with my old lama).

The armor rating of the milespec goddard is actually better than any armor you can buy, yet it's as if it was ten times weaker.

Any idea?

Welcome stephane thx for the report do you have any idea on which weapon cut through the armor like butter the color of the beam or bolt might be useful in tracking it down.

The luddites redeemer ships usually have some kind of standard mass driver, not sure which model. It doesn't affect shields but directly damages armor. It looks like metallic bullets (gray).

I forgot to mention that I'm using the latest SVN version 5.

This armor problem didn't happen again. At least, not exactly the same way.

I experience a strange behavior of the goddard milespec package damage percentage (I think that I misinterpreted the armor bug somehow). It's sometimes higher than 100% (138% is the maximum I've seen, depending on installed ship upgrades), and usually drops as the yellow bar (fuel) drops.

The cost of the milespec package upgrade repair is also weird. When the milespec package is at ~96%, the repair cost is about $300'000. But if I do a basic repair ($4995), then the milespec package repair cost drops to ~$20'000. As if the refuel was included in the milespec package repair cost???

Milspec ships are quirky in my experience.

Maybe it would be wise to include such a message if the repair cost for an item is greater than the basic repair cost.

Yes, I'd say that the milespec packages repair/current state is not handled properly, because I never had this kind of issues with regular upgrades.
