another nooby question, then ill shut up

i apologize in advance for bein such a noob. im wonderin tho, how do i get the ai turrets to work on big ships (goddard, tesla, clydesdale, ect)? i press ctrl+t, but nothing happens. what am i doin wrong?

your pressing the wrong key

turret control keys are "]" to switch to manual control;"P" to target the turret;and "o" to turn on the AI which you you more than likely have to toggle each you change targets.have fun

k. thanks. according to the manual ( http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ... at:Turrets ) u need to press ctrl+t, but if ur method works, ill use it.

"o" to turn on the AI needs to be done once after you launch your ship and once again if you don't want your turrets shooting anything on their own. A good time to turn turrets off is if your target gets near a friendly and you don't want more factions after you.

The way to tell for sure if your turrets are activated is to go to external view "F4" or "F5". When activated, they will start spinning. Press "F1" after that to go back to your normal cockpit view.

"P" to lock the turret to your current target so you can be firing at one enemy while your turret fires at another.
