Bounty/Defend Missions Pay Double!

I have gotta love bounty/defend missions in my tricked-out llama. First, I get paid piles of money for taking out pirates and other unfriendlies, then I break out the tractor beam and pull in all the enemy pilots. Depending on how many other guys are out there, it could be an easy 10-15K extra. Easy money.

NB: I am not an idiot. If the mission is talking about taking out capships, I take my Lancelot or whatever to kill them. Anything less than Plowshares or Hyenas, though, don't ask for anything greater than the Llama, and the cloaking device means I don't get caught for carrying Contraband.

Yeah those captured pilots are considered slaves

i wonder if a captured alive mission could be part of the game might make you a part time cop

that's basically what happens now only the hostage pays himself

How would the hostage pay himself If you've captured him and he's just a bot?

i was referring to the rescued pilots as they are the one who actually instigated the mission with his SOS and he pays the for the taxi.

Not quite, I was referring to Bounty/Defend/Escort missions, where you're getting paid to blow ships up. In these cases, there are generally pilots who survive their ship getting blown up and sit in escape pods until they find someplace nicer. In these cases, I can get paid not only to blow up their ships, but also to tractor them in and sell them into slavery. That pays double.

Another thing: Install this neat and nifty patch, and you can sell the cargo left over at the end. Triple pay!
