I apologize in advance if this question has been answered already, I dont have alot of patience. Im wondering what needs to be done to activate or start the main plot if there is one??? If this has been answered previously I would greatly appreciate it if someone could throw me a link to the topic or let me know. Thanks!!

BTW How does one hire an escort or wingman in this game, never been able to figure that out hopefully this magical new forum will lead me to knowledge and understanding!
And just wondering, did the Escape Velocity series have any influence on the making and development of this game? The Wolf 359 system made me wonder. . .

Wolf 359 is actually a real system (not sure about number). For me, first thing that comes to mind when saying that is Star Trek actually, batlle at Wolf 359.

And there's no real plot in game...yet.

Never really been a big Star Trek fan. I was always more into Star Wars. Maybe its just me but it does sorta remind me of Escape Velocity Nova.
