Cash Hack

Ok, I know, probebly stupid, but I saved in the Cephid 17 system when I did the cash hack. But now Cephid 17 A is a blue star, all the planets are, and no wormhole-gate things. On the plus side there is a few planets and a reserch outpost, and I have all my money.

So now my question is, since there's no wormholes how do I get out of the system. The only thing I've come up with is to spec out of the system towards one of the stars in the background. And other sugestions on how to get me out?

Sorry no can do turned off in the config file the Star Trek crew are the ones withit turned on and they are having a few problems getting the new version engine to work with there data set ATM :wink: so new game time :( and rehack the cash :D and watch the first string of your save file as that is your current location in sector/system format.Have fun

I seem to have run into an interesting problem. When I have a game and save the text file correctly it sends me back to the start without the money, when I save it incorrectly, I gives me the money but sends me to the other Cephid 17 system.

Which file are you editing it should be the one in .vegastrike0.5 that's a dot at the beginning makes it a hidden folder so "ctrl h" in the file manager to see them.

I'm giving up on the cash hack.

I found a productive cargo run between Atlantis and Serenity.

A Cash cheatable
Theres no need to hack cash saves. Just save on the auto save then save your progress on the old save, Alright now sell everything at the shop then save only on the old save(DONOT SAVE ON AUTO SAVE NOW), Load the auto save and all the CASH will be there :mrgreen:

(warning please try not to get too rich a error will start)

Welcome Zama you are repeating yourself and your response is not really relevant to the OP's question besides that particular exploit will corrupt the save file at some point so that it becomes unusable :wink:
