Questttttions!

Post by Kyretzn »

Hey!

I was just wondering, if any of you like to talk while you play?
Most games I play, like Vegastrike or Morrowind, I feel lonely while playing, so me and my friends usually use MSN or something else to Voice-chat while we play. That way, we dont feel lonely, and we kinda roleplay it, like...

"Man, Im at Atlantis. Shout me a beer wouldja?"

Its good fun.

So, if any of you have MSN and would like to voicechat while playing Vega, feel free to add me!

comeherenightmare@hotmail.com is my email.

Alrighty! Have fun!

Another thing, is I really, really like Vegastrike.
I like the idea of real space flight, (well, real meaning with real physics) and such.

Just, I hate the time it takes for SPEC to like, charge up.
Sometimes it can take a really, really long time!

Like, flying back to the Mining base, or something.
Takes such a long time.

Is it just me? or is that normal?

Kyretzn try waiting till your velocity is maxed before you engage SPEC i find that helps the ramp up delay.

Enjoy the Choice :)

It does take a really long time.

Try using some of the other spec config values posted here:

Wwell, another question I have is...
There are so many targetting reticals?

One for the Joystick, and one for the Mouse.
Yet, they both overlay... all the time...
AndI have reasonably bad eyes, and it makes it harder to see what im targetting, and where I should be firing at...

Like... Why have the mouse... move the targetting thing, when the weapons dont fire that way anyways?

Its cool, in the way that its ... kinda how Freelancer does Ship Movement, but considering in this game, you spend like, 80% of your time, IN your cockpit, why not just make it so when you move the mouse, you move the ship ... by moving the mouse, not moving the mouse to some place on the screen and waiting for it to move?

I really really want to get into Vegastrike,
a) Big giant Universe to explore.
b) A lot of you seem to like it, so it cant be bad.
c) The graphics are nice, and the Open ended gameplay is to my liking

but, I just... cant get drawn into it.
and I really, really reaaaaaaaaaaalllly want to. :(

Any tips?

if you're having trouble getting into spec press Y then use the afterburner. You can go faster and it gets you into spec.

Just remember to get off the afterburner after you get enough spec its hard to dock when your going so fast.
