OK
I downloaded version 0.5.1 beta1
is there a difference what version of python to use?
at the moment is 3.1.2
While versed with the *. py files in the directory base, but what other directories should look for a file for subsequent translation into Russian?
Translators in German and Spanish, to share experiences ...

P.S. Write only P.M.

There are communication XML files I believe that need translation besides the .py files, there's some .txt files (that are picked up by the .py files) too.

I don't believe VS works with Python 3, if you downloaded from a repo, you shouldn't worry about that. If you built from source, it should have picked a 2.x python version, but if it continued happily with python 3, it may build, but it also may not run.

(PS: I didn't try - it might run)

ok, revert to version 2.6.6 Python
Asked whether there especially in the translation files under windows and linux?
There are currently translating master_part_list.csv,
a lot of difficult words translated in the text ...

VS will definitely not run with Python 3. The syntax has been changed for many statements, so it's out of question without converting .py code to 3.x syntax.

Yes, I already checked, do have problems with python 3

For a correct translation of the game will translate well at first base game data, otherwise translate the game will be difficult

Hi all.
Came across this one site http://ru.vegastrike.sourceforge.net.
In this connection I would like to clarify whether it has direct relevance to the project vegastrike?

http://ru.vegastrike.sourceforge.net.

Was such a page with Russian translation
currently not open, the reason is not yet figured out.

Project to me, "abandoned" for several reasons, but the main - the lack of free time.

I will try to continue the work of translation, as just "appear" time.

Hi alex as you may have noticed it is very quite on this forum and VS was never setup initially for localization so the user messages are embedded in the Python code check with the current code team https://github.com/vegastrike .

Enjoy the Choice :)
