hi there,

we start a comunity here in brazil! and apreciate any help to translate!

here are the first ones:
/vegastrike/master_part_list.csv
/vegastrike/bases/bartender.py
/vegastrike/modules/dynamic_missions.py
/vegastrike/communications/....xml

1) err.. there are any tool to make it easier? or anyone needed?
2) thera are some thig alread done?
3) may we become "the oficial" braziliam team, aproved from Vega's team? :wink:

You shouldn't need any tools, things like Notepad and Excel/CSVeditor should do it. I'd suggest to contact Plueschinger for a complete list of all files which need to be translated; he was responsible for the german translation.

but still some questions...
how to explain...?!?!

supose what a translate the files.. direct from the folder's game..
but, at the final... i just realize, the programes, made their changes...
and we have a new entire version!!

how to confirm, if they mantain the language files intact?

are these files "secure".. (if i can say that!)

Most that requires translation is data side and not related to the code of the engine it's self the closest to that are the py files but those python scripts just deal with where to put the text on screen and how to respond to user input.A lot of the structural issues where solved by Plueschinger a PM or email to him might be more useful to you.He has not been active of late but the new release should call him back :wink:
