Data on Incom Z-95 Headhunter

maximum speed: 100 m/s
maximum forward acceleration: 5 m/s^2
maximum deceleration: 9.09 m/s^2
roll rate: 45 degrees/s
pitch/yaw rate: 45 degrees/s
weapons:
- two lasers, two shots per second
- two concussion missile launchers, three missiles each
hull: 15 RU
shields: 20 SBD
length: 11.8 m
hyperdrive

I've started piecing together a model for the Z-95. This is what I have so far:

i dont think u need to model the weapons on evry model, instead model evry weapon and mount them on the ships, this way u can display heavy ship modifications like diffrent main weaponary on the ships.

the standard z95 got the Taim&Bak IX4-Lasercannons (like u modeled them) but most of them where modified more or less by thier owners, bountyhunters and mercenarys even cooperatuions that use these small agile and reliable fightercaft to guard thier convoys tend to mod them to make them better fit thier needs.

Is there any good tutorial on how to make weapons in vegastrike? So far I didn't find anything. Also: would you like to contribute to the mod? I could use a little help ;-)

iam realy waitin for a full working mmo-multiplayer so got a workin base to start from, but before doing so and share affords i like to know your goals... mine r:

- a timeline based universe just representing a singe frame of the storry (eg. the year between episode 5 and 6) otherwise it just gets nasty
- ww2 style fighter combat like shown in the cinematcs
- epic universe setting.
- 100% remade grafix, sure many nice models and textures r out there but putting them side on side often looks like patchwork crap.
- running reliable persident universe server, and developing scripts that made the server something out of the ordinary.

@Beowulf there is a tutorial that Tillas of Vega Trek put together it is called "How to Mount Weapons" it is a pdf if you can not find it let me know and i can e-mail a copy to you 8)

@Moe479: My goals for the immediate future are to get something together which can do everything that the original TIE Fighter game can do. As for the models: I asked the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade project team if I can use their models but didn't get an answer yet. If I don't get their models I might take a look at the SWTA models, but they are fairly low quality models and would be a temporary solution only. I've just started modelling and am learning blender right now but I think I'm making good progress. In the end I want this mod to have it's own handmade models ;)
I intend to use the time between the Battle of Yavin and the Battle of Endor as a reference with a possible extension to Grand Admiral Thrawns campaign five years after the Battle of Endor at a later time.
The fighter style will be similar to the original TIE Fighter game which roughly resembles WW2 fighter combat.
Once all this is up and running this mod might go for mmo with an epic universe setting provided someone is willing to help in the making ;-)
