No, Crusade being axed had nothing to do with Trek. I don't believe UPN and TNT are owned by the same guys. See my previous post for the reason Crusade was canceled.

Eh. There's a lot of Trek I don't like. But don't write off post-TNG completely. There was some REALLY good DS9. I don't mean 'oh, that was a really cool battle'... i mean 'wow, that episode had fantastic acting and writing'.

*sigh*... a Babylon 5 mod would be so cool.

I think the texture is too bright. It could be a bit more faded... metallic... flawed. You know?

When done Right the First time there is no reason to redo it
Everyone should take notes by this example. only 1962 polygons. On the High side, but well worth it.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said.
But I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Pontiac did the export, how can I say, it's really a nice ship, I think a nova will come soon, not to let this ship alone ;)

It could use some more colorization. Like blue trim, dark grey areas, and such.

and for the people who think I "found" my meshes on the web I should send some models, they were designed for gaming, with basic shapes and details layers ;)

and the b5 station, 1976 polygons. I don't know how can I texture such a monster, even a 4096*4096 look really awful in a close view, I think this one won't go in game before I find a nice idea, maybe loading it in many parts, I don't really know, it's far from the max ship size loadable in vs. The problem is that the main part is a single tube, mapped with a cylindrical map:

Maybe cut the cylinder in half, then duplicate and flip it?

I did a similar technique (but with very small slices) for a starbase in the trek mod. It looks okay, except for the god-awful seams which show up very easily in Vega Strike. yeck.

you can fix the seams by bridging the two faces that make up the edges.
