where can i download the mod and where do i save it to? bty im usin windows

For now only Developers version is avaliable:

I hope in some months we will make version update, with upgrades for ships added, trading system ( you will be allowed to trade and earn money by trading ) and some other good things :)

ok i found that but where do i save the file to? just anywhere in program files/vegastrike?

Unpack files from archive ( WinRAR is good enough ) to directory you wish.
There is no installation needed at all.
All needed information is in the previous post I've showed. Just read next posts ;-)

just one problem: winrar is not free and i dont want to pay for it. is there some other way?

There is a WinRAR trial version. Alternatively, the decompression code of rar-archives is free, search for "unrar" and you'll find a few free utilities.

I'd recommend 7-zip. Very handy, IMO.

It supports rar archives. Only it's interface is different from WinRar.

its not workin! i download it, unpack from archive but it is still the normal vega strike!
