Hm... we'll have to work a lot on those materials after Ogre.
Hm... I need material templates for semi-matte paints - I forgot about them.

Thnx ;-)

Just have no time to post here many new models. Almost all important Klingons are ready with permissions, weapons, stats etc -- Negh'Var, K'Tinga, Vor'Cha ( Cleeve -- low poly if compared to hellcatv model ;-) and some others.

Ready with LC Amaral Warbirds -- three modifications + Adonis's Aehlla class.

Still have no joy with Valdore and Scimitar.

Perhaps after my next exam on 24th I'll have some time and make some update at forum. Keep your eyes open :-)
God bless you!

Well I next major upgrade of VegaTrek will be somewhere like summer.
Till that time I'm going to prepare upgrades for major systems and spcial tool for browsing StarTrek universe map outside of game.

Currently it works under Linux ( QT-4.2 ), but I'm very close to make Windows build and publish here for beta-testing.

This tool is completely neccesarry, since we are going to start major works over global Universe map.

Here are some screenshots:

Wow esgaroth! This is fantastics!

When I'll improve our graphical universe observing tool we will be able to create star systems in a few clicks in graphical mode and also planets which will use those awesome textures!
God bless you!

Too bad I don't have a clue on how to install it.

Once I get my new computer, I'll give it a shot.

I was bored so I took some of the screenshots and photoshoped them..

Most of the credit goes to you all though for taking most of the screen shot pieces :P

EDIT: Probably not the right place to post this.. please tell me if that is the case and I will edit my post?

You know what would be awesome???

SPLASH SCREENS!!!!!

And photoshopped pics like the one above would be PERFECT.

Hmm...let's see:

A Sovereign Class, just cruising 'round a random system. Beauty shot, if you will.

Then a Defiant Class, battle damaged, sticking it to a heavily damaged borg cube.

Then a Constitution Class, warping away from Earth to boldly go.....

THEN a fleet of borg ships hurtling MENACINGLY toward Earth.......

some ideas for breathtaking screens... =D
BE GOOD.

Do you use Developers version or 0.2.0 release by PeteyG to take screenshots?

I used dev version for the screenshots, therefore no borg at the moment. But I am working on some splash screens and will build them into the dev version next week.
I like the vega trek logo from tristan (is it from you ?) and would like to use it. Is this OK ?

It is a pity that the screenshots no longer work. It's a very old topic.
