We need testers to help balancing ships, statistics, weapons etc.
Currently you can fly on all models I wrote. But... we need more information about:
1. Weapons ( I need weapons count, their type,
strength, sounds or whatever you can help )
2. Energy consumption
3. Speed
4. Maneuverability
5. Combat distances

If somebody can help write to my e-mail. Testing will start in June or July.

If somebody can help with fixing textures we will be also very pleased.
God bless you!

Good!
For today a finished Intrepid all weapons ( e.g. phaser banks and torp tubes ). It work perfect for me... But what is good for me may look ugly for someone else.

That's why I'm searhing for testers.

You can touch model even now ( not in July ). And if you are Linux user, you can check all my new fixes after 2-3 minutes I commit them :)

There are some technical stuffage connected with SVN, but I can teach anyone how to use it. It is as simple as typing VegaTrek in Google :)

If you are Windows user, we can build special package for you. If traffic is problematic, we can think about it together.

Anyhow, I'll post additional info and perhaps screenshots on these weekends. I'll also make special ( small ) package both for Linux and Windows users. Watch out for additional information.
God bless you!

um, can you please tell me where to get the new datasets? I'm on Linux, but only for about two weeks, so I'll need help getting the SVN to work.
Will be able to help testing it for the rest of May, won't have any time in Juny or July. :x

I think I can find all that info in the technical manuals. I don't have them all, but what I have could be useful (you could extrapolate the rest, if needed).

Though... I don't have much free time, so it could take longer than what you'd think - don't hold your breath.

I have some models which are almost ready, but there are some "glow" maps needed for each ship. It is very easy to create them if you have 2-3 free hours a week ;-)

Watch out for forum update, tomorrow I will post official VegaTrek ship list and future models ( which will be added in prior order ).

As for release - the only thing I need now to make it - large chanel. I hope this is trouble of few days.
God bless you!
