So which cvs file can I edit so I can use the photon's more often
I am tired of getting constantly killed and want to unbalance the
game a little

You are welcome to test new weapons model in July.
Photons do a huge damage now, refire slowly and ... can be fired out by phasers or disruptors :)

the file is weapon_list.xml if you want to hack it right now---I think lots of changes will happen soon when tillias edits them, so your changes may be overwritten by similar ones--but until then
also units.csv controls how units are setup
