Vega Strike Forums

Hey I'm on a mac osx 10.4 and I have been trying to mod the strike to trek tried with adding the .2 trek didn't work tried adding the .3.2 patch to the other one didn't work I have been doing trial and error with no luck. Is there a place to dl vegastike with trek already modded or something I'm running out of ideas lol or is there a place to download a working patch that is for mac for the 0.5.0 version of vs I'm running?

the best thing is first to dl the recent version of vegatrek which you can find here:
http://vegatrek.sourceforge.net/
0.2, o.3 and the like are from the last century and wont work on new machines anyway.
This is however, only a win version (we have no mac dev at the moment..), but you should probably be able to take a working mac exe into this framework.
Vegatrek is based on privateer PU (which of course is based on vegastrike proper, but heavily modded), so it would probably be best to get a mac release of pu as a starting point (if there is one, dont know at the moment, have a look here: http://pu.wcjunction.com/).
Other way round may work, too - get a working PU install and then exchange everything from the latest win batch download (above) except the bin folder...
