I normally wouldn't reccomend this (to gamers)... but you might want to try the vertical mouse.

I hope you both get better soon.

I did use a mouse similar to this at work, and honestly my arm did always feel worse than when I used my normal mouse at home. Yet, I guess it's worth a try...

Well my own problem is my own fault really. I had an injury to my leg (to be specific an old laceration from my thight to my stomach_ and both my doctor and my g/f warned me not to do too strain my leg too much for fears of reinjuring myself, but I went and did some strenouous activity anyways, and lo and behold, it hurts like hell (aka I reinjured myself).

It's what ya get for not listening to your doctor ;)

Anyways, I'm not incapacitated in a way where I can't work (both arms work fine although reaching with my right one can hurt considerably if Im not careful how I do so), just, not the most ready and willing to work when I'd rather be in bed, so ya. (or at least dosed up on pain medication )

I found the solution for never listening to doctors:
I never go to one.

That sounds painful...

Oh it is, let me tell ya :P But it's also my fault for reinjuring myself. Blah.

My fault. I have to get the SVN ready, and it's taking waay too long.
I will, eventually, though. I just don't have much time to work on it, and it takes a lot of time to get it done. It advances... slowly...

In SVN - FYI - WCU will be standalone (no more priv dependencies), so it would be an easy checkout and you have a working copy.

Ferrius better take your time to heal. I didn't and now I'm in now end of trouble.
The problem is, that body you drive around in has to last you a lifetime and it didn't come with all the spare parts.

For those of you with mouse problems, try a tablet. I also get problems when using a mouse and there are none in my size (the biggest one I could find was three-fingers wide). I find my wacom really works a lot better. The smaller wacoms are about the same price as your average wireless mouse.

If you guys really need SVN, I can provide. I may have disappeared when my new job started, but I happened to learn SVN in the interim.

I just need a working version of WCU. :-P

@Dual: Oh, I plan to. Though, thats the marvel of a labtop, that I can drag it over here to bed with me because I'm an internet addict. And yes, I'm sure you didn't need to know that. Haven't really had the compuntion to do anything more than fiddle a bit in photoshop though, and after last night I've had far bigger personal issues to worry about.

Might not be online for a while if said personal issues escalate. Don't care to explain what's going on publicly (PM me if you wanna know), but I will leave a note if I have to go.

Ferrius, you should rest, eat well, AND take lots of vitamins, to accelerate healing. And there's no reason for exertion with anything WCU-related, since it takes longer to model than to texture, you'll always be waiting around for the next job. So take it easy. And like klauss said, you'll have to wait for the cleaned up trunk, too.

Well the personal issues have gotten worse and I'm going to be offline indefintely until it is remedied. Long story short someone threatened the life (seriously, as in, they weren't joking) of someone very clsoe to me and I'm not worrying about anything else until that's dealt with.

You can still PM me here and I'll get around to it sooner or later.

Ouch - that's serious indeed.
I hope you're able to solve that - sad we can't be of any help.

When it rains it pours - I have my condition, and Katherine to worry about, among a myriad other smaller issues.

I wish I could tell you guys when I'd be back, but the only honest answer I have is I don't know. Hopefully soon, though. I don't like to leave myself out of the loop, especially when people are depending upon me (to a small degree, but still). Sorry for the inconvinence guys.

I'm going to be around until Monday - have to try to tie up loose ends so no one ends up thinking something happened to me or something, then I have to go offline and deal with that.

Ouch, been there, myself. A girlfriend, many years ago, got threatened by her ex, on the phone. She told me while he was still on the phone; I said hang up and call police. She did, and that guy and his visiting criminal friends spent a night at the police station. I'm a big believer in involving law enforcement immediately, in such situations. Once there's a paper trail, would be stalkers think twice.

Hey guys, I'm back, not that you've missed me ;)

Well, thar's not entirely true - being unemployed's meant a bit of a budget crunch and as such, I'm without internet at home. However, the public library does have internet, and that's how I'm posting this now.

In any event, if someone could get me up to speed with the progress that's occured in my absence, I can get back to work, although without internet I'll have to figure something out as to how to get my progress online.

(BTW, the hornet's looking sweet DualJoe)

Glad to have you back. Nothing much has been going on in the forums lately. I have been to busy with my work, and haven’t gotten around to finishing any of my projects. GUI anyone?

Good to have you back even if it’s temporary.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said.
But I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

GUI?
Curious you mention that.
I am working on GUI stuff. Silently ;) - stay tuned, I might have news sometime soon. A few weeks from now, probably - when exams are left behind.

The GUI or the code behind the GUI
