I am going to be focusing now, on Privateer development. I want some help with this project. I need stat editors to help me get this up and running, I have applied for wcnews.com webhosting so I should be able to upload the files to the net. NOTE NO WC SHIPS will be worked on at this time, ONLY Privateer, once privateer is stably working I will move onto WC ships.

this sounds like a great plan Darkmage

and now that you can easily add turrets and weapons with the wings3d editor and respective howtos in the links section above... it should be cake

sorry it took so long to get a decent weapon editor

I am working with MamiyaOtaru trying to come out with some sort of common ship structure for all the WC ship in the WCU. This structure should allow for the creation of additional mods. We haven’t figured out all the details, but hopefully the next time he’s, we will be able to finalize the ship structure.

For now it looks like it going to go something like this

This is from the root of the VS directory
/mods/wingcommander/common
/mods/wingcommander/universe
/mods/wingcommander/wasteland
etc…
