Stuff crashing into bases: It's probably because right now bases have a very low physics check priority.

@spirit: in the spirit of moving everything to CVS so that those who want to contribute (Like FS with his stuff, for instance) can do so in a more timely and easy fashion, blah, blah... did you send your code changes to Daniel? Because many of the crashing issues, I suspect, could be solved by merely recompiling with CVS source. Of course, that will break things if your code changes aren't in CVS. The idea is to have both the code and the data where it should be: the data in wcuniverse's CVS repository, the code in Vegastrike's CVS repository.

you know where to get the data... i'd do it myself but i never figured out how. re code changes: i sent them at the common privateer remake gmail addy.

I'll do so... I'll commit the full download tree to wcuniverse/wcu sometime this week. Today is a little complicated for me... that takes up a lot of upstream bandwidth and I can't do that today without creating a mess of which I'll be blamed for sure.
