@ crouton: Where did you get the ships from specifically the WC1 Diligent-class Transport and the WC1 Exeter-class Destroyer. The reason why I ask is because there are multiple models of the ship is the WCU and I believe that the ones I made are still the most accurate. The only thing they were missing was the textures.
The WC1 and WC2 Rapier’s are not dups, if you look closely the original WC1 Rapier’s look unfinished i.e. is was rushed off the assembly line.

I am using the WCNews Ship Database to make a full master list of ships. Then I am going through spirit's list and the shippack to find out which ships have been done or not. I haven't gotten down to (textures/finalized?) yet.
It'd probably be a good idea to go through the WCU code and verify that the models are there and are the quality wanted.
I'll note that the WC1 and WC2 rapiers are not duplicates.
I'm in irc.wcnews.com #wingnut and #wcu (yay!) right now and will be all night, come hop on IRC and talk. (Open invitation to everyone)

@crouton I think I had the last full WCU download, what I will do is create a quick tree list of all models form the WCU, and upload a ship pack 4 I think it is safe to assume that any models currently in the PRIV branch are good enough.

Ok here is a quick and dirty list of what ships will be in WCU Ship Pack 0.4.0.
Note. I was trying to get all the ship into OBJ format. If you want the ship in 3ds format, I am not limiting anyone, but the only officially supported formats are OBJ and BXFM
3DS has an 8.3 filename limitation for are files (textures) it references.
The goal for WCU Ship Pack 0.5.0 is that all files in at need to be in the OBJ format

O.K. Here is the game plan. I have uploaded the latest version of the WCU ship pack 0.4.0 to source forge. http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... e_id=46125
Currently all the models are broken down by race, and then ship class. What I would like to have happen is to create a new branch in the CVS 0.5.0 and break the ships into the following groups
Active (working in game)
Verified-Textures (model has been reviewed, with active and correct textures)
Verified-Model (model has been reviewed, and verified good/accurate and converted into the OBJ format)
Graveyard (Ships that are to be removed, but are kept for archive purposes)
Pending (Ship needs to be reviewed)
Note: the existing race/class structure needs to be kept within each group for consistency
