Bit long in the tooth in getting an all clear.
I got a Male Confed scanning me in Oxford, I waited as long as it took to coast into the jump from when I came out of warp, then jumpped into Saxtogue. Once in Saxtogue I got searched by a Female Militia patrol. went into Warp to the jump to NEw Detroit. Coasted to the jump to New Detroit. Jumped into New Detroit and got an all clear from the first scan, TWO SYSTEMS AGO. I wonder how long till I get HER all clear?
Give it a five or ten second count and give an all clear. PLEASE?

the code makes them scan each item in your hold
the number of items in your hold determines the time
I can reduce the time per item

I can reduce the time per item

I think you need to. It's scanning me and all I have in my hold is the artefact. It's scanning all cargo and upgrades show as cargo. So it's scanning EVERYTHING. Every upgrade -- except mounts and sub mounts -- is counted in the scan adn if you have a fully loaded ship it takes forever. Imagine if I had one of each item in my hold as well, doing my flight around the galaxy checking prices? Ages and ages for a scan. Especially if it scans each item individually. i.e. 100 iron = 100 scans.hellcatv wrote:the code makes them scan each item in your hold

Shorter scans. I was at the third jumppoint in New Detroit making a tour around the system and she complained that I deviated twice before she finally cleared me.

Actually, it would make the most sense that once you're out-sys, the scan stops, no matter how long it takes normally. But we could make it so that jumping out during a scan would make you lose points with the milita.
