"Ship configuration/ cargo inventory"

Is there a screen listing the configuration of the ship, ie engines, weapons and other equipment? And what about cargo? I browsed the manual, but couldn't find any hints to this.

yes, but it requires you to go ahead and step out of the game and fire up a text editor

in windows in the data directory is a file called

.vegastrike/serialized_xml/yoursavegame/yourshipname
in linux and mac the .vegastrike file is in your home directory ~/.vegastrike/.../...

we're working on adding one ingame-- but until then you can use this after you save
