Ubuntu Vegastrike error

Hello, well im trying to run vegastrike, i installed some packages like python 2.5 all fine.... but when i try to run i get this error (console)
[vegastrike: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.20' not found (required by vegastrike)]
Im trying to find the solution, but i only found about others programs (rares ones), anyone can help me in this?
S.O: Ubuntu 14.04

Have you tried to find the package that it says it needs in the Ubuntu repos that package is an older version and may not be available at all.Which method did you use to install and welcome to the forum.

Well i got that package, tried install this game and download it from repository(oficial one),sourceforge,opensuse and nothing, so i need help
!
PD: Thanks im new here,same in linux, Sorry for other language in the image...(spanish)

I can parse Espanol if I need to there is always goggle translate
You can get a .deb version for "buntu from getdeb/playdeb there is a package for 15.10 and 16.04 and 14.04/14.10 the first is the default on playdeb just click on the "Release" button and select 14.04 that should get you playing.

finally some relaxing space game
if you want please update download section(because maybe there is others with this error)
Added ppa playdeb to Synaptic and downloaded all packages with vegas-strike
PD: There is a online server?

Not sure if the online sever is working at the moment and I can't change the download section as I do not have access to the sourceforge pages.Glad you got it working
For the server info have a look for Eye~R's post in the Vega Strike Online section he did an update a few weeks ago.
