Seeing which faction owns a system

Seeing which faction owns a system

How can I see which faction has control of a system while in the game? I'm on 0.5.1 Beta 2

As far as I remember there is no explicit way to know that info,but a scan thru the bases/planets with the "n" key should give you some indication of the political climate.

IIRC, the color on the nav computer tells you something.

It does, it's exactly the same color used in the faction relationships list.
