When I registered my real username (dborg) using my real email address (daniel.borgmann at gmail), the registration process apparently failed to connect to the SMTP server, so no activation email was sent despite the registration attempt being successful. This is certainly one of the most questionable behaviours of phpBB.
At least there could be a method to re-send this activation email.
Anyways, I registered a hotmail account and this username since my email to the administrator had no effect, but I would be thankful if someone could activate or delete the "dborg" account so I can take it. Thanks. =)
