No guesses yet, hmmm. Perhaps it's still too vague.

3rd clue: In the struggle between uncle and nephew, the uncle's son switches sides to aide his cousin after learning that his father has lied to him for years about how his mother died, and that his father was primarily responsible for putting her in danger.

The next two clues will expand on this one, if there are no good guesses after that, I'll name the genre, and then I'll start with quotes from the film.

Probably. Or I just probably haven't seen the movie.

I never liked intrigues...

If it's old and a musical... forget it. I don't know nuthin.
I can't remember any non-singing actors who got the nerve to get to get included in the soundtrack. lol. Well. maybe Adam Sandler, and I do like his songs.

5th clue: Quote: I can't even eat. The food keeps touching. I like military plates, I'm a military man, I want a military meal. I want my string beans to be quarantined! I like a little fortress around my mashed potatoes so the meatloaf doesn't invade my mashed potatoes and cause mixing in my plate! I HATE IT when food touches! I'm a military man, you understand that? And don't let your food touch either, please?

4th clue: Genre: Comedy.

3rd clue: In the struggle between uncle and nephew, the uncle's son switches sides to aide his cousin after learning that his father has lied to him for years about how his mother died, and that his father was primarily responsible for putting her in danger.

2nd Clue: This film starred 2 actors NOT normally known for their singing ability that nevertheless appeared on the soundtrack, and an actor better known as a singer that did not.

1st clue: Plot: A man who has lead a sheltered life must battle his insane uncle to claim his inheritance.

Sounds cool. 8) I love comedy, Might have seen this one. But not sure. Unfortunately memory of titles is not as good. I've seen a couple of fighting for inheritance types of comedies. But I forgot their tiles.

I seem to have killed this thread with my question... Last clue, then I'll just post the answer in 24 hours.

6th Clue: Featured the use of a propeller beanie (type of joke hat) as a pacemaker alarm.

killed this thread
Actually I think it died sometime ago. Then Spaceman Spiff did some nifty necromancy. Seems like no one wants a creepy-smelling thread. 8)

lol. Joke!
propeller beanie
That would have been memorable. But now I TRULY know, I have never seen the movie.

Title please.. and a recommendation if it's good watching.

Ok, here is the answer. The Movie was "Toys" 1992
Starring Robin Williams, Joan Cusack, Robin Wright, LL Cool J, and Michael Gambon.
I liked it, thought it was funny... GREAT soundtrack.

now i DO feel old
Should I call you granddaddy then?

Take into consideration that asians mature later than caucasians. We reach full size, height, etc. at 25, at least.

Tho I'm twenty now, I'm only 5'6" (already considered tall for a filipino, believe me). Physically and mentally my equivalent age to a caucasian is about um.. 16? lol
