this game is not a multiplayer type game yet.

And there won't be multiplayer support for vegastrike since they are now working on seamless planetary flight at first.

we're not working on seamless planetary flight *first*

there is some semblance of multiplayer

but it's done by a different set of developers
people work at their own rate

and with the number of messages by *guest* requesting planetary flight in rude fashions, we're thinking of postponing it in favor of other more gameplay related features :-)

I would suggest that you not be influenced either way by either anonymous or rude postings (or both!) w.r.t planetary flight. If you're writing the code, you can do what you want to, and I suspect that there's lots of stuff that you want to be doing other than planetary flight!

If only we could magically convert all that energy generated by the enthusiasm of people *wanting* the planetary flight stuff into *actual code*, we'd be set! :)

Ensure it keeps compiling and running smoothly on MacOS X, occasionally troubleshooting endianness bugs. Currently I'm working on a really simple installer for the next PlaneShift tech demo, which depends on Crystal Space. Other than that, I'm trying to create a Crystalspace "canvas" that allows the mixing of wxWidgets and CS view(s) in one window.
