If you watch Last Resort part 2, (search KingStegBlob Last resort part 2 on youtube) around 7:21 movie time you can see tails with a chute on. Why would he need one? I say that tails' tails are so immature and not so very developed yet that he can only fly 100 mobian feet up. No offense, tails, but it had to be said.

Whoops, my mistake. I take that back tails, must've been looking at his age, not his ablity. Forget it, I know why there really shouldn't be parachutes for the heroes in the Sonic series, they always get sabotaged. In a way.
