Favorite kind of Sandwich?

Post by Jeff2121 »

Whats your favorite Sandwich(s), you can name as many as you like, any kind of sandwich.

I personally prefer Colby or Swiss, Lettuce preferably Iceberg, Tomato and Pepperoni on White Bread.

Feel free to ask any questions about Sandwich's (I.E. What is a 'sandwich'?)

there was a time that whipped dressing and onion slices on white bread was my fave, but, i was a kid, at the time i didn't know how horribly dangerous white bread is. now i prefer 'egg in the well', it's 'egg in the hole(pull centre of bread slice out, fill with egg, while frying the bread)' with a second slice of bread.

Interesting... I remember having that as a kid too (egg in the well) but we called it "ducks in the pond". :D

my people are from cape sable island in nova scotia, mostly settled by immigrants from new england, people from new england came from just about everywhere. i'd be interested in finding out where the dish originated, i figured it was a family thing, still may be.
