The "net play" option on the mission computers is also breaking the fourth wall (Although im pretty sure it's not implemented yet).

It's implemented just no servers on-line ATM 
and the code is still very alpha and there is not much functionality yet just a death match mode.and some ship and upgrade purchasing.

hum, since some one rezzed the dead..
implementing a markup language for text displaying is a real good idea. Simply, it allows well formatted text in a decent system that people are used to using. a full browser is silly, but a full library with its own viewer isnt. I'm one of those people who LOVE lore... and gathering bits and pieces of a picture is great, finding random documents somewhere, learning more about the history of my environment.. its fun.
