Hallo folks

I`m a newbie and want to compile Vega Strike on FreeBSD but I didn`t find any port in the freebsd portstree
http://www.freebsd.org/ports/index.html
Nearly every excelent Linux game (which vega S. trike is of course) has a FreeBSD port but not vega strike.
So I will try to compile Vega Strike for myself. Does that work, anyone already tried that?

By the way, where can I find all platform compatible sourcecode? I only found pre-compiled releases for Windows, Mac and Linux here:
http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/getfiles/

and the only file in the developer archive is an exe file:
http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/getfi ... elease.php

Welcome Welkin you will have to pull the source from our svn repo along with the data module you should have few problems with the compile just making sure that configure finds all the deps http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ... eckout_SVN and http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/wiki/ ... e_from_CVS should get you going if you have problems just post here.

Enjoy the Choice :)
