Area species images

Post by DarkVixen »

I've been considering contributing various drawn images of the Aera creatures themselves (I'm a digital artist with a background in graphite, life drawing, and traditional animation).

I'd like to know what is the status on the correct biology of these creatures, the information on VsWiki is missing some information and there was recent discussion about the placement of the oculars (eyes) of the species, are they still under the jaw?

How do the Aera age?

Are there subspecies/races/ethnicities and other mophic variations?

What about different sexes? pathogenic (one sex, born pregnant)?

Do they lay eggs like Terran reptiles? or live birth?

Code: Select all

 if (!track.HasWeapons())
            {
                // So what are you going to threaten me with? Exhaustion gas?
                return ThreatLevel::None;
            }

Yeah I'm hoping the Aera biology has been agreed upon or soon, I'll wait a few weeks, the inverted jaw and eyes is going to be an issue.

I doubt any real land-based alien species on any other planets would develop that way. Unless something special happened.

Did you try a search for aera concepts?

I got a few interesting hits

If not enough, keep looking, because I'm sure JackS (our minister of information - ie: canon guru) had written something about them I'm sure.

Thanks, I'll contact JackS.

For now I'm going with the inverted jaw, I have some sketches that I'll post soon.

Again, I apologize for not being able to add them into the code myself, I do know programming but not VegaStrike's specific code and how to add data/code to it.

So I'd always be asking for others to help add any graphics they see fit into the code. Much thanks and love! :)
