Probably this is how a SPEC-powered travel should look like, though I don't expect anyone will implement it... just imagine, for fun

Really neat! Aberration is already partly used, the "head light" effect should be possible with a simple screen overlay, but I don't know how to insert it. I know nothing of the engine, so Doppler is my only question. Well, that and can the effect be applied to only things outside of the ship especially with 3D cockpits? I'd love to see this! I think the best visual experience would be in the .5C to .75C range.
