so, in a essence, we need to supply the c++ code with a target? will this work on any target? e.g. can I enter a target which is not a nearby star system?

Probably not, as each sytem uses its own, star-centric coordinate system; but I heard a rumor that Hellcat recently made it possible to travel between systems using SPEC, but I'm not sure how it's implemented. Probably by switching coordinate systems; but it probably uses a special function to do that.

They don't check the forums every day, but usually within a couple of days you get an answer.
If by the third day I don't get a reply to a question I PM them.
