Login Problems

I tried to get an online account as described in ace123's post from Mon Aug 27, 2007 12:09 am.
But I always get an error message if I enter my name and password.

Does anyone know what I did wrong?

Nothing  the server was not on-line  but that should change as a couple of the boys have set up one that is not tied to sourceforge have look here http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/forum ... 31#p105331
they not not be on-line yet as this developed only yesterday :D

Killer,

Yes, I know what happened. More than likely, it's my mistake for not posting a registration link on my end.

This link will direct you to the registration for the current server, I believe. Link to register!

Ace123 has an account server set up, so do I. What likely happened is that you registered on his server with his account server, and, You must have been redirected to my Vega Strike server as you tried to connect to his Vega Strike server. Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to share his registration, likely being why the log in failed.

@SiroDJ you might open a thread with an announcement and a quick how to i will make it sticky and we can use it for logging status and such.

LOL Loki I am not sure what exactly that meant but I will read it as 'Not Yet' :D

Great work guys, finally a decent game that will run nicely on linux - and open source too :D

What would a feller who has a bit of experience with a big project or two do to help?

Cheers
James/Twitch

Well ATM there are lots of stuff data side that could be fixed a lot of the game's interface and behaviour is there as Python scripts this is so that the different Mods can pretty much do a complete make over.So a place to start would be getting to know that structure and picking one of the bugs that i have tagged in the bug triage sub forum as Python related and seeing if you can fix it or if C++ is your thing them grab the latest source from svn and explore till you find something you think needs working on most of the dev team seem to be side tracked with R/L ATM so there should not be any conflicts but some new code may perk one or two to comment  so as with any FOSS project people work on what they consider cool.
