i was about to dock with a local station while i was browsing systems in my adominsher (not much 3 leach guns and ion beam and a disrupet beam and leech missles) when the battle music thats playing so in think its those ruddy purists again so i turn roung to see a homeland secuiety admonisher taking dwon a mule (the mule had just shot me up the backside a few times) so i turn and let him have all my guns and missiles up HIS ARSE but nothing happens so i just sith ere holding down the fire button untill i have to leave for repaires. The homeland securitey guy did nothing it was as though he kept say. "step away form the spaceship... please?"

P.S what the heck do leach guns do i shot that guy for a good 20 mins before his icon tinted red.

Leech guns leech power so the ship becomes unable to move.

Enjoy the Choice :)

Alright, sounds like you need better weapons.

Not sure about how the Admonisher is in 0.5, but it can only take two light and up to six special weapons in 0.4.3. If you're using 0.4.3, you probably want dual ion beams and quad Hephaestus minis. The miniguns don't do tremendous damage but they do have some phase damage, and every bit counts... Four of them could increase your damage nicely.

(Oh wait, disruptor beams? Those are medium weapons... Okay, you'd probably be using 0.5 then. My bad.)

Let's see... I'd still recommend filling up the special mounts with the most damaging stuff you can find. Miniguns are probably good; you might also want to try the Jackhammer open-cycle laser if the ship can take it. Not sure if the stormfire requires a heavy mount (or even still exists) in 0.5, but if you can find some ammo, check it out. Anything to increase the damaging power of your guns.

The other thing you can do is load up with dumbfires. I found them to be the most useful missiles in SVN - they move fast enough that they'll hit if you get the angle right, and they pack an amazing punch. Emptying a full payload of DFs into a Mule should be enough to blow it up.

Edit: not sure about this, but if the light ion beam has been nerfed by now you might want to replace your ion beam and disruptor beam with laser or maser weapons. Less damaging, but much more phase damage, so they can actually do something to a light capship whose shield regen exceeds your firepower.

kk tnks i got a pacifier now whick i used on a fleet of 3 muels and i took out the first one... the other tow got away COWARDS.

P.S leech guns stop em from moving... pretty pointless on a mule that had a turret on top as its main weapons hardpoint.

That's why you snipe the turret first  turrets are sub-units and can be taken out separately uses the "b" after you acquire your maim target.

Enjoy the Choice :)

The station was most likely under attack while you where refueling/rearming so the bug out probably save your ship
